Demonstration of SKILL and ABILITY

First time callers can expect prompt, courteous and professional service with a FREE sample edit up to three pages for a book and one page for shorter writing endeavors. Your publishing/writing goals will be discussed and evaluated along with providing targeted marketing and guidance. Honest assessment and feedback will be provided as a progress tool toward completion.

CORE COMPETENCY

All customers receive the benefit of core competencies.  All editing will check the following elements which constitute the foundation or framework for exceptional writing: credibility, word flow or fluency, syntax, grammar, spelling, wordiness, verb tense consistency, proper use of conjunctions, avoidance of ending a sentence with a preposition, avoidance of “communication weeds”, tone, excessive use of passive voice, excessive repetition of a name balanced with the right amount of pronouns to prevent reader “numbness”, logical sequence of events, ability to hold interest, content, correctness, etc.

6. Send a synopsis and summary of your book.

7. State whether your manuscript is a first draft.

8. State if your manuscript has undergone previous edits.

9. State if you have re-read and re-wrote your manuscript.

10. State if you had any prior beta readings.

PAYMENT

For large jobs, a 50% Non-refundable deposit is requested. Pre-payment in full is requested for smaller jobs.

CASH APP is the Preferred Payment Method followed by WESTERN UNION APP.
